Mackellar Care Services is an award winning not-for-profit organisation, passionate about providing residents of the Gunnedah and surrounding areas with access to leading care services.  We strive to go above and beyond to ensure that the residents and their families experiences within our facility exceed their expectations.

We operate 120 aged care places over two residential campuses and seek a Care Manager to join our team of compassionate, innovative, and highly motivated people in our 30 bed unit. This unit is comprised of two areas, a 14 bed low care unit and 16 dementia specific beds.

About the candidate

Our ideal candidate is an experienced leader, passionate about delivering quality services in the aged care setting.  You will have a friendly but professional communication style, a customer service focus, and lead your team to deliver high quality standards, in line with the organisation’s mission, vision, values, and strategic direction.

To be successful for this role you must demonstrate the following:

  • Division 1 Registered Nurse with current and valid AHPRA registration.
  • Experience or ability in meeting the KRA and KPI requirements outlined in the position description.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the organisation’s commitment to delivering high quality services is maintained.
  • Mentoring and supervision of care services team members.
  • Assessment of care needs for all residents and delivery of person centered care in a 30 bed unit.

We seek a qualified Podiatrist to join us and deliver services to patients at our GP Super Clinic and residents in our Residential Care Facilities.  With all three sites located within a short distance of each other, this role provides the right candidate with a varied and challenging role.

About the candidate

Our ideal candidate is an experienced podiatrist committed to delivering quality care to clientsYou will demonstrate professionalism and a customer service focus, be motivated and reliable, with great communication skills. The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team is essential for this varied role.

To be successful for this role you must demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Podiatry.
  • Full Registration with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 3 years post grad experience.
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance if working under a contractor arrangement.
  • Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
  • National Police Check and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain

  • Improve the quality of life of aged care residents by delivering evidenced based treatment.
  • Manage and develop a private patient practice in a GP Super Clinic.
